# CDBox vs Record Picker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CDBox at none against Record Picker's 1. CDBox also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Record Picker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Record Picker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CDBox asks for nothing beyond the download.

CDBox ships an update monthly, Record Picker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
