# ScentMax vs Qestra

The clearest difference is update cadence: Qestra at every 4 days against ScentMax's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScentMax sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Qestra sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScentMax ships an update every 3 weeks, Qestra every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
