# Block Method vs Tempo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Block Method at every 3 days against Tempo's fortnightly. Block Method also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Method sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tempo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Method ships an update every 3 days, Tempo fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
