# Quick Note vs Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Note at every 4 days against Notes's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick Note ships an update every 4 days, Notes every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
