# NextUp vs count.live

The clearest difference is update cadence: count.live at every 9 days against NextUp's every 2 months. count.live also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NextUp ships an update every 2 months, count.live every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
