# 1 Bit Notes vs LogPad

The clearest difference is update cadence: LogPad at weekly against 1 Bit Notes's every 2 months. 1 Bit Notes's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 1 Bit Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LogPad sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

1 Bit Notes ships an update every 2 months, LogPad weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
