# Checkon vs Routine

The clearest difference is update cadence: Checkon at every 10 days against Routine's monthly. Checkon also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checkon sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Routine sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Checkon ships an update every 10 days, Routine monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
