# Capacitly vs Task Roulette

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Capacitly at 10 against Task Roulette's 1. Capacitly also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capacitly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Task Roulette sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Capacitly against 5.0 for Task Roulette. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capacitly has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Capacitly ships an update every 11 days, Task Roulette every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
