# Timed Tasks vs Routune

The clearest difference is update cadence: Routune at every 4 days against Timed Tasks's every 2 months. Routune also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timed Tasks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Routune sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timed Tasks ships an update every 2 months, Routune every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
