# LiveNote vs Focus Cafe

The clearest difference is ratings volume: LiveNote at 45 against Focus Cafe's 1. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LiveNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Focus Cafe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for LiveNote against 5.0 for Focus Cafe. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveNote has 45 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LiveNote ships an update weekly, Focus Cafe every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
