# CalNote vs Fitography

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fitography at every 3 days against CalNote's every 10 days. Fitography also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalNote sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.19 per 7 days and Fitography sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CalNote ships an update every 10 days, Fitography every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
