# Lava vs Mirava

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lava at every 6 days against Mirava's fortnightly. Mirava's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lava sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Mirava sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lava ships an update every 6 days, Mirava fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
