# Study Timer vs Focus it

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus it at every 9 days against Study Timer's every 3 months. Study Timer's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Focus it sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
