# Brutal Time vs Retrotick

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Brutal Time at 17.0 against Retrotick's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brutal Time sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Retrotick sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
