# Inkfluence vs MakeEbook

The clearest difference is rating: Inkfluence at 4.3 against MakeEbook's 1.0. Inkfluence also leads on ratings volume (16 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). MakeEbook's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkfluence sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. MakeEbook asks for nothing beyond the download.

Inkfluence holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inkfluence has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Inkfluence ships an update every 5 days, MakeEbook every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
