# Inkfluence vs Novalist

Inkfluence and Novalist both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Novalist's written reviews are positive against 60% of Inkfluence's. Novalist also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7). Inkfluence's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 27.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkfluence sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Novalist asks for nothing beyond the download.

Novalist holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inkfluence has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Inkfluence's written reviews are positive against 100% of Novalist's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
