# vTimer vs VidZip

The clearest difference is update cadence: vTimer at every 2 weeks against VidZip's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. vTimer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and VidZip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
