# Learnables vs ColourTrainer

The clearest difference is ads: ColourTrainer at none against Learnables's shown. Learnables's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learnables sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and ColourTrainer sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learnables ships an update every 2 weeks, ColourTrainer monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
