# Book Tracker vs Bukon

The clearest difference is rating: Bukon at 5.0 against Book Tracker's 4.8. Book Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Book Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Bukon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bukon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Book Tracker has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Book Tracker ships an update every 5 days, Bukon every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
