# Vindex vs Dropp

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vindex at every 2 months against Dropp's every 6 months. Vindex also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vindex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Dropp sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vindex ships an update every 2 months, Dropp every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
