# Leaf vs Moth

The clearest difference is rating: Leaf at 5.0 against Moth's 4.6. Leaf also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Moth's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Leaf sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Moth sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
