# RunTogether vs VALENS

The clearest difference is device support: VALENS at 3 against RunTogether's 1. VALENS also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RunTogether sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and VALENS sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RunTogether ships an update every 8 days, VALENS every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
