# PrayerMap vs Prayd

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PrayerMap at none against Prayd's 6. Prayd's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prayd sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. PrayerMap asks for nothing beyond the download.

PrayerMap ships an update every 2 weeks, Prayd every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
