# Habit Tracker vs Shift

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shift at weekly against Habit Tracker's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habit Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Shift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Habit Tracker ships an update monthly, Shift weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
