# FlipFocus vs BlueNotess

The clearest difference is update cadence: BlueNotess at every 4 days against FlipFocus's every 2 weeks. FlipFocus's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlipFocus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BlueNotess sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlipFocus ships an update every 2 weeks, BlueNotess every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
