# FlipFocus vs Brief Monster

The clearest difference is ads: Brief Monster at none against FlipFocus's shown. Brief Monster also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlipFocus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Brief Monster sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
