# SubShelf vs Trackle

The clearest difference is ads: Trackle at none against SubShelf's shown. Trackle also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). SubShelf's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubShelf sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Trackle sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SubShelf ships an update every 9 days, Trackle every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
