# Raycon Notes vs Readrrr

The clearest difference is rating: Readrrr at 4.5 against Raycon Notes's 3.2. Readrrr also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (48 vs 11). Raycon Notes's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and review sentiment (42% vs 29%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raycon Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month and Readrrr sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readrrr holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 48 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Raycon Notes's written reviews are positive against 29% of Readrrr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Raycon Notes ships an update every 5 weeks, Readrrr fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
