# Babbler vs MsgBack

The clearest difference is ads: MsgBack at none against Babbler's shown. MsgBack also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Babbler sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and MsgBack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Babbler ships an update fortnightly, MsgBack weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
