# ChatCal vs Droply

The clearest difference is update cadence: Droply at monthly against ChatCal's every 2 months. ChatCal's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatCal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Droply sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChatCal ships an update every 2 months, Droply monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
