# Zaad vs StepQuest

The clearest difference is ads: Zaad at none against StepQuest's shown. StepQuest's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zaad sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and StepQuest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zaad ships an update every 5 days, StepQuest every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
