# Note Bucket vs Synapse

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Note Bucket at 13.0 against Synapse's 15.1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Bucket sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Synapse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
