# Note Bucket vs Squirrel

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Note Bucket at 13.0 against Squirrel's 17.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Bucket sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Squirrel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
