# New Year Resolution vs Marks

The clearest difference is update cadence: New Year Resolution at every 2 days against Marks's monthly. New Year Resolution also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. New Year Resolution sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Marks sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

New Year Resolution ships an update every 2 days, Marks monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
