# Sum Forge Origins vs Extra+

The clearest difference is ads: Sum Forge Origins at none against Extra+'s shown. Sum Forge Origins also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Extra+'s advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sum Forge Origins sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Extra+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sum Forge Origins ships an update every 3 weeks, Extra+ every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
