# NextXI vs JAM

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: JAM at none against NextXI's 3. JAM also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 11 days) and device support (3 vs 1). NextXI's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextXI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. JAM asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NextXI against 5.0 for JAM. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextXI has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NextXI ships an update every 11 days, JAM every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
