# Animarc vs LVLUP

The clearest difference is ads: Animarc at none against LVLUP's shown. LVLUP's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Animarc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LVLUP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Animarc ships an update every 2 months, LVLUP every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
