# iRize vs Patch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Patch at every 3 days against iRize's every 5 months. Patch also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). iRize's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for iRize against 5.0 for Patch. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iRize has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

iRize ships an update every 5 months, Patch every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
