# Steppps vs MoonStep

The clearest difference is update cadence: MoonStep at daily against Steppps's fortnightly. Steppps's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steppps sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and MoonStep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steppps ships an update fortnightly, MoonStep daily. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
