# Steppps vs WalkBy

The clearest difference is update cadence: WalkBy at weekly against Steppps's fortnightly. Steppps's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steppps sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and WalkBy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steppps ships an update fortnightly, WalkBy weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
