# MeloRep vs String Ledger

The clearest difference is rating: MeloRep at 5.0 against String Ledger's 4.4. MeloRep also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). String Ledger's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MeloRep sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and String Ledger sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MeloRep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4.
