# Bible Note vs ThyWord

The clearest difference is ads: Bible Note at none against ThyWord's shown. ThyWord's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (104 vs 11). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and ThyWord sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThyWord holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ThyWord has 104 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
