# GolfSaltAI vs Techniq AI

The clearest difference is monetization model: Techniq AI at free with in-app purchases against GolfSaltAI's subscription. Techniq AI also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfSaltAI sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per month and Techniq AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for GolfSaltAI against 5.0 for Techniq AI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Techniq AI has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

GolfSaltAI ships an update monthly, Techniq AI fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
