# OpenIntelligence vs NoteOS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OpenIntelligence at 100% against NoteOS's 57%. OpenIntelligence also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). NoteOS's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 4) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenIntelligence sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and NoteOS sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpenIntelligence holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteOS has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of OpenIntelligence's written reviews are positive against 57% of NoteOS's.

OpenIntelligence ships an update every 6 days, NoteOS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
