Calorie apps tell you what you ate. Yolk tells you what to eat. Answer a few questions — your goal, the foods you love, what you never eat, how you cook — and Yolk builds your week: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner, with portions already worked out. Your plan starts today, from your next meal. YOUR FOOD, NOT DIET FOOD Tacos, chilaquiles, rice bowls, eggs, burgers. Your plan is built from the dishes you pick. Allergies never show up, and the things you don't like stay out too. ONE CARD: WHAT'S NEXT Today shows the next meal with its photo. Cook it with step-by-step cooking mode, or tap "I ate it". Tap Swap for up to six other plates that fit your day — the rest of the day adjusts on its own. SCAN WHAT'S IN FRONT OF YOU • What can I make? Take a photo of your fridge and get a meal from what you have. • Ate something else? Scan your plate and log it. • Eating with others? Scan the table — with a photo or a short video — and Yolk tells you how much to serve yourself, in grams. Photos are used only to recognize the food or read the label. Nutrition comes from Yolk's own food table; a food it doesn't know is marked as an estimate. EXERCISE THAT ADDS FOOD Log a workout by hand or connect Apple Health to read your workouts, active energy and distance. Hard training days add food back to your plan. Yolk only reads from Apple Health — it never writes to it, and your workouts stay on your iPhone. TRAINING FOR AN EVENT? Marathon, triathlon, Ironman: tell Yolk your race and your training week, and it plans each day for the training you do, with a race countdown. SIMPLE PORTIONS Every amount is in grams, except what you count: 2 tortillas, 1 egg, half an onion. NUMBERS YOU CAN CHECK Your daily calories, protein and goal date come from a standard formula using your age, height, weight, activity and the pace you choose. The pace has a ceiling based on your body weight, and Yolk never plans below a daily calorie floor. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Take an optional Day 0 photo, private to you, and compare it with a later one. IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH Every screen, every recipe. Switch any time. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No ads. No tracking across other apps. Health answers are optional and never used for advertising. Delete your account and your data from the app at any time. SUBSCRIPTION Yolk is an auto-renewing subscription, yearly or monthly, with a free trial for eligible new subscribers (14 days on yearly, 3 days on monthly). Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you start. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. • Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Yolk is for adults 18 and older. It's a meal-planning tool, not medical advice. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, managing diabetes or another condition that affects what you eat, check your plan with your doctor.
