# Instant Transcript vs Vault Scribe

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Vault Scribe at 17.0 against Instant Transcript's 26.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Instant Transcript sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vault Scribe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
