# Hello Sun vs Bads

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hello Sun at weekly against Bads's every 3 weeks. Hello Sun also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hello Sun sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Bads sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hello Sun ships an update weekly, Bads every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
