# Day Counter vs Aevum

The clearest difference is update cadence: Day Counter at every 5 days against Aevum's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day Counter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Aevum sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Day Counter ships an update every 5 days, Aevum fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
