# Telic vs notetime

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Telic at none against notetime's 3. Telic also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). notetime's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (18 vs 3). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. notetime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Telic asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Telic against 4.7 for notetime. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: notetime has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Telic ships an update fortnightly, notetime weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
