# Chalkee vs Chithi.me

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chithi.me at 100% against Chalkee's 63%. Chithi.me also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). Chalkee's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (177 vs 11). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chalkee sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Chithi.me asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chalkee holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chalkee has 177 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Chalkee's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chithi.me's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chalkee ships an update every 8 days, Chithi.me every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
